Assignment of Lease by Tenant with Landlord Consent (Canada)

An assignment of lease is an agreement whereby the original tenant to a lease assigns his rights and responsibilities under that lease to another person. The original tenant may choose to use an assignment for a number of reasons including job relocation, financial concerns or other changes in circumstance. This form is for use with residential leases and comes with a landlord consent.

This form can be used in the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and Yukon.
