What is a Living Will?

By | November 28, 2007

A Living Will is a document that allows an adult to give advance instructions regarding the providing, withholding or withdrawal of life-prolonging procedures in the event that such person has a terminal or end-stage condition, or is in a persistent vegetative state. When Living wills are combined with a Power of Attorney for Health Care they become an Advance Health Directive.
