By definition an Employment Application is a form that is generally used as a way to screen potential applicants for a job. The application will elicit information from the prospective employee that will help employers judge a candidate’s qualifications and skills. Employment Applications will ask about education, prior employment, references, special skills and other questions pertaining to the position. Some federal and state laws regulate some of the questions that can be asked.
